VSAIA Competition

This is an entry for the 2006 Virginia Society AIA Student Design Competition. To celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the Jamestown settlement, the program called for a 30'x30' cube visitors center to travel on a barge and offer views from 4 windows. Rather than peering out, the design brings the views inside the cube through a series of pinhole cameras. The viewer stands within the camera and becomes a part of the image by way of their shadow.
